What we do

JD Financial Translations Limited (JDFT) specialises in the translation of financial reports and corporate governance and other related reports from Italian to English. While this is the company’s main specialisation, with decades of experience most of our translators have also acquired expertise in other fields, ranging from economics and sociology to pharmaceuticals, art and civil engineering. They now specialise mainly in finance, legal and corporate, but they are above all expert linguists with a broad vision.

We use industry standard and inhouse state-of-the-art computer assisted translation software. While we use the full power of modern technology, all our translations are crafted by humans who use special “translation memory” and other software to assist them. This vastly improves the quality of translation in terms of the consistency and accuracy of translation across different reports and also the speed, which lowers the price you pay. Before the advent of the computer era, translators used dictionaries, while now they use translation memories (TMs). Maximum security is guaranteed: whether in the cloud or on local devices, all data is securely stored and password protected.
